Author Talk with Tony Ferraiolo
Join Milford Pride for an author talk with trans activist, educator, and filmmaker Tony Ferraiolo on Saturday, May 10 at 2pm at the Milford Public Library.
We’ll dive into the journey of Tony’s book, Finding My Way Out of the Darkness: How I Found Self-Love and Acceptance—a story of resilience, healing, and self-discovery. This will be more than just a book talk; it’s a chance to connect, share, and find inspiration together.
Come be part of the conversation, bring your questions, and let’s spend an afternoon filled with hope, reflection, and community.

Milford Pride Drag Bingo Night - March 2025
Play games, win prizes, enjoy some drinks and a show at Tribus Beer Co., and help raise money for Milford Pride! $25 entry includes 7 games of bingo, 1 drink ticket, and top notch entertainment. Additional drinks, food, cards, and bingo dotters will be available for purchase.

Milford Pride Trans Joy Art Show 2025
Milford Pride invites local Connecticut transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming artists to submit work for display in the second annual Milford Pride art show. The theme for the show is “Trans Joy,” artistic representations of the beauty of the trans experience. Despite the constant challenges and hate facing the trans community, we want to showcase the importance and power of joy, pride, and positivity.

2nd Post-Inauguration Community Gathering
We ask you to join us again--now in a larger space, with plentiful seating and sound equipment--to hear updates, ask your questions, voice your concerns, gather feedback, empathize in safe surroundings, and share in the spirit of organized civic action.

Parking Information:
Parking is available in the lot next to the church. Next to the basketball hoop, there is a walkway that leads to the doors to the event space. The fellowship hall is directly down the stairs from that entrance. Bathrooms are located down the hallway.
Accessible Parking Information:
Street parking is available on the river side of the church. The door on that side provides entry near the kitchen and then to the fellowship hall. There is an accessible bathroom adjacent to the fellowship hall.

Milford Holiday Buoy Tree Lighting Meetup
Milford Pride will have a rainbow-themed buoy on the annual Holiday Buoy Tree assembled by the Milford Arts Council. We will be attending the tree lighting as a group — details to come!

Tony Ferraiolo: "A Self-Made Man" Film Screening, Q&A
Woodmont UCC and Milford Pride are thrilled to bring trans youth advocate, trainer, and author Tony Ferraiolo to Milford. Tony will be screening his film "A Self-Made Man" followed by a Q&A. He will also have copies of his new memoir for sale.

Milford Pride LGBTQIA Open Mic Night
Come see some wonderful LGBTQIA+ performers. Free or suggested donation $5-10, all ages event. Drinks and light snacks will be available for purchase from the Milford Arts Council (cash only). Acoustic Day at the Cafe
On Saturday, August 3, head to Cafe Atlantique for Acoustic Day at the Cafe, an amazing afternoon of acoustic music, vendors, raffles, games and more. Free to attend, $10 suggested donation… and 50% of all money raised will go to Milford Pride!

Milford Pride July Book Club
Join us at The Firehouse Gallery on Walnut Beach for our bi-monthly LGBTQIA+ Book Club! In celebration of Non-Binary Awareness Week, we will be discussing "Gender Queer: A Memoir" written and illustrated by Maia Kobabe.
Free to attend, and feel free to BYOB and bring along some snacks.

Milford Pride Ball
Enjoy a celebratory evening at the Milford Arts Council’s downtown space and raise money for Milford Pride's ongoing efforts to build LGBTQIA+ community and visibility in Milford. There will be dancing with music provided by DJ Mx. Chalk Productions, drag performances hosted by Hella Swagg, a cash bar hosted by the Milford Arts Council, and more!
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Milford Pride to support its mission. Each ticket holder will receive one (1) drink ticket redeemable for wine, beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage.

As a celebration of International Transgender Day of Visibility, an annual event dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society, Milford Pride will be hosting an exhibit at The Firehouse Gallery featuring local Connecticut transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming artists. Milford Pride Trans Joy Art Show: Opening Reception

TDOV is an annual event dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society.
Come meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments from La Catrina Taqueria, and make connections in the local LGBTQIA+ community. Free to attend, donations encouraged.

Yoga for Every Body
Let's celebrate unity, love, and mindfulness with a special LGBTQIA+ Yoga Class at AT Sangha Yoga on Saturday, March 2, at 7 PM! This event is not just about yoga; it's about creating a space where everyone can feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
What to Expect:
Inclusive Practice: A gentle yoga class designed for the LGBTQIA+ community, welcoming all levels and backgrounds.
Empowering Flow: Connect with your body, mind, and spirit through a sequence that encourages self-expression and self-love.
Feel-Good Vibes: Groove to a soundtrack that celebrates diversity and embraces the spirit of togetherness.
